Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On an olive drab trefoil with cartouche-like base, three red segments of a quatrefoil, each charged with three golden spears issuing from axis throughout, one in pale between one bendwise and one bend sinisterwise.
The three patterns represent the dual nature of the Command with the Third Army.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 9 October 1942.
